Essential News and Updates, Delivered Every Week

Who Am I?

I am a 26 year old Professional Engineer with a Masters in Electrical Engineering.  I have been following Bitcoin for several years, having discovered it as it became popular for online gambling. Full disclosure: I hold a significant portion of my savings in Bitcoin, as well as some Ethereum and Litecoin.

What's This Site?

A weekly newsletter

Haven't heard the term "FUD" yet?  You probably haven't spent much time reading Bitcoin forums.  Bitcoin news is filled with people yelling, "Panic!" and news and popular opinion seems to change daily. There are paid posters on the most popular forums pushing agendas and it can be hard to tell who has an agenda.  I spend hours a week digging through it, and I plan to deliver a summary of the most important information than can be digested in 5 minutes a week. This will be everything the buy and hold folks will want to know with minimal fluff.

Background on bitcoin

Trying to figure out what all the fuss is about? Want to buy and hold, and not think about it for five years?  Go for it!  You will probably make money.  If you want some background about what your investment is, or you want to know why Bitcoin is seemingly filled with fanatics, check out some of the background I plan to be filling out the site with.  This will cover the basics and remain as factual as possible, and hopefully by the end you will see why people are exciting about Bitcoin!

Deep dIves

These will be my opinions on current events in the Bitcoin community.  Not everyone will agree, but I will try to be as objective as possible and I will always honestly disclose how I will be investing my own money and why.  I will do research into the more technical issues of Bitcoin that I think people should know about.  Want to know why Bitcoin requires more energy to operate than a small city? Or what Lightning Network is? Or whether ASIC Boost is a threat?  Find my deep dives in this section as I explore the concepts.

We must all obey the great law of change. It is the most powerful law of nature.
